do you oil it back down before storing?
I wipe mine with a paper towel, that's about it. If it was seasoned good not much should stick.

90% of the time I bring a bottle of water to boil and rub a paper towel around with the spatula until clean. Then dry and rub down with oil.

Old Mexican fella taught me that if you have burned on food, use cheap seasoned salt as your "scrubber" so you get it clean and the salt will imbed into the disk and make it that much better.

Next time I get days off I have all the material to make some disk. I'm going to make 20. They will be basic with horseshoe handles, they are farm used disk so they will be from 18-22 inches. I will polish them and oil them so they won't rust. They won't be fancy but they will darn sure work. I'm thinking $60 each, if anybody is interested PM Me. I have 4 sold so far.

Disc grinder with stainless wire brush. Oil and burn it off. Wipe down with oil again.
