    Sounds like he was a good family man,and a good friend also.

Why not take the people who commit unspeakable crimes, or the ones who commit crimes against the defenseless be it human or animal. Why not cull the bad apples before you take a wonderful person who loves his family and values his friends?
        I too, have wondered this question and the book of Isaiah helped myself find tranquility. Having lost friends at very young ages, it always seems difficult to see His meaning of plan. Unfortunately, many people become enveloped in a downward relationship with God. I pray that this does not happen with any of your friends loved ones and that they see the blessing in being brought to walk with Him. Sending prayers for you and all those that love the man that passed.

        Isaiah 57

        "The righteous perish,
        and no one ponders it in his heart;
        devout men are taken away,
        and no one understands
        that the righteous are taken away
        to be spared from evil.
        Those who walk uprightly
        enter into peace;
        they find rest as they lie in death."

          Dear Lord, We come to you tonight and ask that you wrap your comforting arms around Your children who have lost a loved one. We ask that you provide them with the strength and understanding through their faith to make it throguh this trying time knowing that their loved one is in Your glorious presence now, and that their seperation is only temporary. Help them to find comfort in the memories they have, and the anticipation of a glorious renunion in Your kingdom. We ask in Your most gracious and Heavenly name, Amen

                That sucks. I found out a friend died thru an email from his wife about a month ago. He had bought a turkey hunt with me at a DU Banquet. The email basically said that he was looking forward to the turkey hunt, but couldn't make it because he had a heart attack and died that morning. I was in total shock. Folks that send those texts or emails are in shock as well and don't know a better way to let folks know. Not sure if there is a better way. Totally sucks. Sorry for your loss brotha.
