Same, hard to beat, not a long range tactical rifle by any stretch. Lot better optics for the price in a fixed power than adjustable. I have a glenfield 4x that is bullet proof, same with a weaver.

I have a 2-7 Redfield just like the one that Cajun Blake posted up on mine for now. Some folks called them "TV Screen" scopes, but they were the "Widefield" scopes.

I have to give it back to my Dad, so I plan to put a fixed 6x Leupold FXII on there instead. It is still gloss finish, and has the classic look. I need to get that done soon, I've been putting it off for at least a year. Matte scopes on blue guns just looks ridiculous.

                        Now a 30-30 pic thread!

1966 Marlin 336RC, Nikon 2-7x Prostaff. Rail base is a Weaver 63B, rings are Burris steel Zee low height. My aging eyes demand optics on all my long guns these days......

Sorry, the pic showed in Preview......

Mine doesnt even have the name put on it anywhere LOL. Looks just like the one that Blake posted though. Not much power and no adjustments what so ever.

Its killed countless critters waaaay before my time so if it was good enough for them its good enough for me. Its definitely the ugly brush gun and I love her.
