Happened to everyone in my family ONCE THIS YEAR!!
But luckily Chase Bank covered it, ours were used in the UK, even with pin #'s and codes on back, and yet it got used.

              Good deal.

My Discover card paid for about $3000 of Gamestop purchases in Wisconsin a few years ago. Thieves were never caught as far as I know.

A debit card is cash that comes directly out of your checking/savings account.
It is not a credit card, if that's what you're implying.

Need to be extra careful where you use your debit card, since its linked directly to your bank account its harder to get your money returned. I rarely use my debit card anymore after getting hit several times. Pay at the pump is a bad place to use it since they can hack into the system and get your information. They can put devices on the cable that comes from the keypad at stores like Wal-Mart and grocery stores, etc. that record not only your card number but your PIN number as well.

                        Be careful.

Wow, amazing to me as to how many of yall have gotten hit. Guess it may have a lot to do with where you live, but I didnt realize how often it happens.
