I make mine 6'X6'. My window is 12" tall and the width of the blind frame. I like to staple camp netting over the entire window and cut a small shooting hole, about 12"X12", in the middle of the netting. That way i have plenty of room to see game coming and moving around without craning my head around. When I shoot I simply draw behind the camo netting and lean forward to access the shooting hole. I also paint the entire interior of the blind black. Sorry I don't have pic but it works very well.

I'm thinking something like a ground carpet blind. Something cheap so I can build 3-4 of them.

For 8' diameter you'll need two 16' panels. You'll end up needing 25' and some change.

I've made a ton of them. 6' x 6' is as small as I would go for a box. The best I have made are 5.5' wall to wall hex blinds.

Had plenty of room, 3 office chairs inside.

We built several cattle panel blinds this year. I'm not sure what the final dimensions were, as I don't really care, but what I did was to take one full panel and bend it around into a "C" shape. I then took a second panel and cut it in half, so 8 foot or so, and attached it to the ends of the "C" to make a "D" shape. I then took 3X10' sticks of 3/4" PVC and bent them from front to back and side to side in a criscross pattern and topped it with a large tarp to keep the rain off. It works great, and I can put two hunters in there pretty comfy. The flat side is the back and has the door cut into it, the rounded side faces the feeder. My buddy built another one, that I really think is too big unless you're planning to bring the whole family out. He used two full panels on his, came in about 3 feet off each end of both panels and bent a 90 degree bend, giving him two "[" shapes, then attached them like this: "[]" with about a foot of overlap on each end. He ended up with a blind that is like 10 feet by 5 feet. he also used 3 10 foot sections of PVC and tarps for the roof structure, but his pipes just go front to back in parallel, tied together with bailing wire. The reason I think it's too big is, I like to have the walls of the blind close enough that I can prop things up against it, like my pack, my quiver etc. On his blind, I only have like one wall to use this way, everything else has to go on the ground, which generates a lot of movement if I need to reach down to pick up the binos or rangefinder, cell phone etc.
