I have this one http://www.ameristep.com/blinds/brickhouse.html its 75X75 and 67" tall. Is quite roomy for one person, plenty of space to draw back etc. i have hunted 2 persons in it comfortably. downside is its a large footprint so you have to brush it in real good.

I have two that I built. The first was a 5'wide x 5'long x 6'tall blind. It is really tight when I have the kids with me. I have to draw from the opposite corner then swing over to the window to shoot. It has 2' legs that put you eye level with the deer. I will be elevating it to at least 5' before next season.
My second blind has a three sided front. it is 5'wide x 6.6'long x 5.5'tall. I couldn't ask for a better setup with this one. This one is elevated with 5' legs and works great at that height.
When I build a bow blind, I sit in my hunting chair, hold my bow out at arms length like I'm about to draw, have someone measure how high the top of my bow is, then I add about 18" to that.
I sometimes hunt with a compound, sometimes I hunt with a 64" longbow. I want to make sure I can still shoot my tradbows in it, that's why I don't mind over building. As for width and depth, I like to go 8x8.
I have a pop up that is 6x6x6, would not build a permanent blind any smaller.
8x18 is great but I would consider the elevation of the blind and the max distance I planned to shoot before I made the final cuts. It all affects how close to floor bottom of window needs to be for close shots and how tall it needs to go to still be able to shoot your longest distance
Minimum 6' circle on our carpet ground blinds. We have some 66" that are really too tight and a big guy cant hunt them.A 6'6" is like the Taj Mahal. Really nice to be able to point bow at target and draw straight back. The stand up height of around 6' is great too for stretching out on long hunts. We use two windows 6-8 " wide and 12-16 tall to shoot a primary and secondary shot. Small windows reduce sound, scent and light and make you much more stealthy.
