Why? I wish nothing but failure on him on the field. He quit on this team last season. Laughed after going 0-4 with 3 K's on a regular basis. I hope he hits 10 HR and strikes out 200 times.

Last year when CJ signed I was talking to josh . I saw the text him and Cj were going back and forth and I knew then Josh would was going west. I have been telling everybody that since the end of the season. Him and CJ are very close. You can't blame him his going for the money. My two cents worth.

                From Jamey Newburg

"In my own version of #dipotospeak, I said I had nothing else to say, but I wanted to add this.

Jon Daniels has told local reporters that Josh Hamilton and his agent did not give Texas an opportunity to match the Angels' offer.

This is in spite of all kinds of reports that that's what Hamilton and the Rangers had agreed on for months.

                Bring it, Josh.

                Jamey"

If that's the case, the Angels can have 'em both. I couldn't stand CJ when he was starting for us in the Series....I will miss the 42 dingers but I'm glad to be rid of both of their poisonous crap!

                      From Dallas Morning News

The Rangers made an offer a week ago that featured less guaranteed money to the former AL MVP. According to Daniels, Hamilton indicated at that time that it might be time to move on, but the Rangers and Hamilton's representatives kept talking.

"It wasn't like NFL restricted free agency where he was going to come to us with an offer sheet," Daniels said. "We did expect to hear from them before they signed."
