This time though- I firmly believe, thanks to the doe in heat this buck stepped out after the does had moved off. He smelled where they were then walked to the scrape smelled the ground them walked back to where they were standing and met a .308 marlin express.

Antler restriction are paying off this year on that lease big time.

I messed up and didn't refrigerate the Franks doe pee after that week hunt in ET and when used later in Menard it provided no benefit but to get some jr bucks pushing does harder than they'd prefer.

Thanks for the update, and nice buck for your dad!! It wonder if Franks is freezable so it can be used for more than one year.

I have never seen a deer that was hungry turn their nose up at corn. It is the ultimate man produced food attractant. I don’t believe that any of these powder/ liquid attractant’s added to corn will make one bit of difference whether or not a deer will come in to your set up not. If they are coming in to the corn they are going to come; the attractant doesn’t matter.

The same deer and same number of deer are going to come to the corn whether you sprinkled magic powder on it or not. They are not going to walk up and notice that attractant x is not poured on the corn and walk off.

In many cases, folks that like gadgets & gimmicks are likely to try these kinds of products trying to find a shortcut in their quest for a big buck.

Well, there are no shortcuts or magic powders that will help you when it comes to taking big deer.
Knowledge, patience, skill, & relentless determination are what get you in front of big deer year after year.

If you are looking for something to use in conjunction with corn to bring in more bucks to your stand then using a good doe in heat is the best way to do it on a consistent basis.( I use Wildlife Research Center’s Special Golden Estrus). Used in the right way, at the right time, it just can’t be beat.

        Tuco,
I believe you are probably right about the corn but I did try this out in 6 spots last weekend on the 40 acres. It was in my price range so, we will see what happens.

Try molasses with table salt mixed up. You can even add corn. Deer and hogs will hit it good once they find it

              Buck Candy Works!

Tons of satified users! It really brings them in.

For Hogs try Hog Cheese by BigGameButter.

BigGameButter will make the deer stay for a while. New product for Texas been used in Georgia area for a while with great success. (made from peanuts!)

I've watched deer lick the ground after the C'mere deer was gone. Also had great results with bb2.

I use rock salt/blocks and block topper to get them started then just add a back of rock salt from WM every fall

Not to hi-jack, but what about pig attractants ?
So far I have found that nothing beats corn but wish I didn't feed the coons too !

You can take a leak on corn, and deer will eat it when they're hungry. Instead of buying this crap, invest in a good road feeder and some corn. That magic sound your road feeder produces attracts way more animals than some bs attractant.

I tried a Deer Cane block just to see if it worked and never had a deer go near it. I'll stick with corn.

I like Hog Wild. It's the only attractant that I have tried that the pigs will eat before the corn poured out right next to it.

                              Looks like the winners are:
                              1. CORN
                              2. BUCK CANDY
                              3. BB2
