Question on doe s blowing at you

Just curious, how often does a doe blowing at you completely ruin your hunt ( don't see anything else). Or does it not typically effect it.

    Thanks for the input

We had a doe blow at us on friday, and about 15 minutes later my buddy shot a brute that came in. I've also been blown at and not seen anything after. So that doesnt answer your question, lol, but imo getting blown at doesnt end your hunt.

It doesn't necessarily ruin a hunt, because deer blow at a lot of things, but I can't stand a nosy doe that snorts a lot. I will kill her if the chance arises, to get her out of the gene pool.

My experience has been, when the smart doe blows, the hunt is over. Until the pigs come in right at dark.

Doesn't end you hunt. They blow when they feel something isn't right. If they smell you... if they see you move... does also stomp a lot if they feel like somethings up..

Well I have had deer blow and never see another thing but I also got my first bow kill buck after deer were blowing for solid 20 minutes. Sometimes it ends it and sometimes it doesn't. Go figure.

You need to take care of her. She will be a continuous problem. So i recommend you shoot her "IN THA FACE!!!!!"

I try to take them out given the chance, i consider them trophy's if you can get them with a bow....got one early in the season that always came in blowing no matter which way the wind direction was

I have had one this year that is really bad. Any time she comes in without blowing I consider it a good hunt. Early season the bucks ignored her. Lately she has run everything off. If she comes in at the end of season she will go down hard.

its the kiss of death in most cases i think, but you never know unless you sit it out. sittings in the woods beats sitting in camp anyday.

Here at Gracieland, it always means it's time to go fishing.
