I'll never understand the people who refuse to text. I've got a good friend who is only 33, and he hates text. I sent him a text the other week that said "come over. Beer, pizza, and archery." He showed up and asked why I texted instead of called, knowing he hates text. Why spend the time dialing, waiting for him to pickup, just to say come over, when I can send it in 2 seconds with text?

I work in IT....so in my house, we no longer have conversations...... Just text....LOL. ! (J/K...not THAT bad, but close).

I was lying in bed (beside my wife) the other night, and the wife was typing on her phone at a furious pace, so I grabbed my iPhone and sent her text message asking if she wanted to have some "relations".

I was making a point to her, AND it all worked out !!

Texting is preferred unless talking with a client, my wife or my parents. It takes me less time and if I am busy or can't talk at that moment, I can come back to it later and continue like it never stopped. The wife and I text as well but quality conversation goes a long way with the little lady

Also have a close group of TBH buddies that I communicate with daily as a group via text and it has formed a pretty cool friendship on and off the phone. It's an easy way to keep up with our daily lives and goings on.

It certainly makes deer lease group communication much easier as well. Especially if you have some good folks that will communicate back with you. I cannot stand a poor communicator. Drives me crazy.

Texting is easier in the fact that either party can answer back and forth freely and if something comes up you don't have to hang up, call back and hopefully they don't get busy.

I text a whole lot.... I have unlimited everything

I use my phone mainly for tbh internet and Google maps. I text a little. I don't like to tho. I don't use my phone for calls or texting except when I have to.

I don't text people constantly all day just for the heck of it. But it's nice when i need to talk to somebody and can't talk at the time

Texting is fine but never expect people to understand the emotion you are having. My ex used to get so mad at me and ask why did you get mad. I would tell her I was not mad and that she read it wrong. That wouldn't happen on a phone conversation. But I talk/Text 70/30

That's one thing I don't like about it. I've gotten in trouble plenty of times due to this.
