    Text

Just read that the first text was sent 20 years ago today.

Just curious how many of us:

    1- love to text
2- text because everyone else does
    3- don't text at all

I for one text all the time. Love being in the deer stand being able to talk to everyone else at the lease.

I prefer texting over talking on the phone.

Gotta change with the times. I text when hunting or so I have a paper trail for work. I still see guys with the leather pouch with the star on it with flip phones. Texting doesn't go very fast on those. time to get with the times.

Text / Talk about 50/50, sometimes it is easier to text and not have to repeat myself.

Never used to do it, but times are changing! I probably text:call, 70:30% nowadays both personal and work! Except for my grandma, supposedly she just likes hearing the sound of my voice.

The first time I ever saw texting, or ever heard the word, I was in Singapore. This has been YEARS ago.
I go off the airplane and I would guess 60-70% people I walked past were texting with most of them not even looking at their phones which let me know they had been doing it awhile.
I finally asked someone what they were doing, I thought that was the dumbest thing I'd ever heard of, now I do it dozens of times a day for business and personal.

I text a lot. Keeping in touch with others on the property is nice. Plus there are times where you don't want to be THAT guy on the phone (library). And some places it is hard to have a phone conversation.

Text about 80% of the time. Plus its easier to get ahold of my daughter, wife and ex-wife when i need to. Plus I'm hard of hearing.
