Age these teeth

The rear teeth say 2.5 and the fronts say 5.5+. Aging by tooth wear is not nearly an exact science. Generally, when the dentine (brown part in the center of each tooth) is wider than the enamel, (white part surrounding the dentine) the deer is probably over 4.5. But tooth wear varies by region, what the deer eats, etc.

example in the sand hill regions such as Gonzales or Guadelupe county, teeth get wore down faster
