    On stand... No release :(

I think a lot of us have fallen victim to this tragedy.

Good thing I drug along the trusty Blackout, so hogs and yotes beware.

Good luck to all who remembered to bring theirs!

I always keep an extra in my stand bag for that very reason. Good luck.

Primary is either on my wrist or on the riser, ALWAYS.

Backup in bag just in case.

Good news is that you will likely see a monster today!

It could be worse. A guy on our lease once left a trigger lock on his rifle, realized it was on his gun as he was getting ready to walk in to his blind. The real problem was that the key to the lock was 4 hours away, sitting on a shelf in his garage.

That's why it always goes on my wrist first. Put it on even beforehand bow comes out of the truck

This may be the first time I have ever heard of someone actually using a trigger lock.

Glad the luck worked for you hillis. Congrats...

I already shot my "trophy" buck this year so I'm not too worried about it, I was just looking to shoot a pig anyway.

Hey, y'all want to hear another funny story? All this talk of keeping a backup release got me thinking... So I reached into my bag and found my backup that I totally forgot about! It's funny because I left my bow on the four wheeler thinking I had no release and there'd be no reason to take it to the stand...

Ouch. Been there. I left mine at home on a weekend trip. Used my FILs backup. After that I bought another I leave in the truck
