Who doesn't have pigs on their lease?

I don't have pigs and more than half the time wish I did. Is there anyone else like me?

Do not have pigs on the property I deer hunt, and really wish I did, but 30 minutes away on some other family property we have a ton of pigs, but no deer.

Family has 3800 acres in Val Verde county. One of the lease hunters claims he a has a single TC pic of a 300+lb boar this year. It would be the first pig ever seen on the ranch.

They are fun to shoot, but they will screw up a deer stand pretty quick. They are a great for an inexperienced bow hunter. They are all shooters so you can totally focus on making a clean kill. No worries about age/should I use my buck tag, does she have fawns with her etc. I can usually find an excuse to not shoot a deer. When I hear pigs I just get ready!

No pigs on our place, "yet".

3-4 years ago, they were spotted about 5 miles from us.
Last year, they were spotted about a mile from us.
We haven't seen any yet this year but I'm willing to bet we'll have some next year...

They're a double edged sword. I'd like to see/kill some but know they'll run deer out of a feeder pen and cause lots of damage. Our landowner does not want them at all as they'll wreck his new goat wire fences.

None on my place and I wish I had some. I know that there are those who are overrun with them and that can be frustrating as well.

It would be nice to have another target from time to time.

No pigs on the Harper lease. More pigs than deer on my Grimes county lease.

own.. have the only property that can be hunted and dont deer hunt there due to other resons...

Game Warden said there still hasn't been one killed in Sterling County. Have some javelina and axis, but no pigs.

Prolly because most ppl consider it selfish to release an animal that breeds like wildfire and destroy any neighbors property that they infest just so YOU can get to shoot a few
