I drove around for over an hour and a half. 2 walmarts and 8 corner store. Only managed 13 individual packs.

Major point being I have nothing better to do while procrastinating writing a report.

This has been the plan all along. The past Four years started it, and the next four will end it. End it meaning, America as we know it. Wake up America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[QUOTE=Bayouboy;6197359]Unions are like attorneys. So many hate them until they need them.

Not to start an argument or anything, but I have worked for companies with and without Unions, and to be honest there is no difference. With today's Labor Laws that are in place, and strictly enforced, I have yet to see the unions do anything to help the working man; IMO. Also, IMO, Unions are all about money as well. How can any Union President or board member call for a strike (I know that it has to have a vote by all union members) and say that they are for the worker? What about that single parent that is trying to raise their children, making an honest living, now be out of work because of some "Big Wig" stating they are going to strike. How are they working them? Who is going to pay the bills for that single parent, buy groceries, and explain to the children of that said parent why they cannot do the things they did before.
I grew up watching my grandfather work for Texaco Refinery on Pt Neches, TX and seeing him stress over a strike. Sure he made really good money, but that does you no good if you are not working because of a strike. I have also seen in my 45+ years numerous plants that were unionized Shut Down because the Union, the same Union that said they were there for the worker, not give in a little during contract talks. How are they for the Worker when the plant shuts down and places hundreds of hard working people out of work? I personally worked for Hercules, Inc outside of McGregor, Texas and the Union there was a JOKE. Numerous times there would be votes to strike and the majority vote would be TO strike, yet the union would not.
Needless to say I am NOT a fan of Unions. But to each his own... Like I stated in my earlier post, there was a time and place for the unions. That time has past and there really isn't any need for them now....
                      Just my 2 cents...

Companies fear attorney's more than the unions, all the labor laws are set in stone.
Hawaii lost all the pineapple and sugar operations because the unions said go out on strike and well get you more pay per hour and XX amount per hour vacation pay, the workers did and they closed up all sugar and all pineapple in Hawaii. Now you get sugar and Pineapple from other places.

Now, there are houses where the fields were, so it's GONE gone !!

Unions have out lived their purpose.

Just picked up some little hostess chocolate cakes and some cream filled things, it's worth ruining the healthy eating reputation for this. Poor little guys are going to expire and Americans are going be left to suffer

Grabbed a package of those last night. Gonna miss them as bad as I'm gonna miss Twinkies.

I don't necessarily mind products being made in Mexico, personally. At least it gives them work and less reason to sneak into our country.
