Done it a couple times but be prepared to be patient. Just hope you spot them first or it will never happen.

How hard is it to call in a bobcat within bow range?

I killed one last Thanksgiving and saw 2 more by the end of the season. I have seen a momma and 2 babies this year so far. I wear full camo leaf suit with facemask. I have had them look right at me from under 10 yards, but haven't been busted. I watched one of the kits within 5 yards for about a hour a couple of weeks ago, trying to catch a mouse or lizard. You need to be very still! I am gonna get a camera. I would love to take picts of them.

Honestly i think a bobcat bowkill is 90 percent happenstance ,but im all about increaseing the odds in my favor for one of those happenstance's, calling with distress squeals is big edge to have on cats&preds though i guess.......

A decoy works best. I have a stuffed quail that I'll set up 15 yards away and pull on it with a fishing line to make it move. a dove mojo thing will work too.
Good luck.
