That's a great idea, I don't think I have room in my freezer for much more hog.

We have given them several downer cows from the dairy. Sometime they want em....sometimes they don't. Sometimes they show up....sometimes they don't. Would love to give em some live hogs...and watch

Dang beat me to it. I would love to see a tiger in action on a live hog.

There is a guy that traps hogs off the place that I hunt that does donate some of them to the refuge. They kill the hog first and then cut up the meat in order to spread the wealth among all the cats. No live hunts. Guess they are afraid the cats might get hurt.

That is strange because I am on their email list and I could sweat there have been at least two times I read that they would take deer meat. Idk why they wouldn't take hog or why the cats wouldn't eat it.

I just talked to them yesterday and they do accept wild game meat, they asked if we minded field dressing and skinning the hogs, makes it easier on them and they can store more meat in the locker if the hogs are not whole. Just give the call and let them know what your plans are and how many hogs/deer etc you would like to donate. We are headed out Friday afternoon to try and knock a few pigs down and drop them off Saturday or Sunday. The refuge is not open on sundays but they said if you call them and give them a time on sunday someone will meet you at the gate.

I guess if you want to waste your time cleaning and skinning one and then donate it for tiger food that is fine. If I go through that much trouble I am eating it myself
