yes, it creeps. tp is like a constantly lurking like a used car salesman. one day i came to the realization that it will ALWAYS be there, i just let go of the fear of tp. if i shoot good its because i shoot good, conversely if i have a bad arrow or bad session then i own that as well.

the truth is that most are on the cusp of a full blown breakdown each and everyday but most find a way to manage it even fewer how to control it. its a work in progress and you have to fight for the control. the kicker is that you just have to let yourself be in control, that's it and nothing more.

there was a thread on this awhile back and one of the post's said that they cured there's by shooting less. i think that does work as well i went from shooting everyday for two or three hours down to once or twice a week for about an hour and it seemed to help along with the cd i got from art. it still comes and goes and like said before, i don't think it ever goes away but you can manage it. if i'm pulled back and feel a little anxious or start to move before i pull the trigger i stop and let down and start again. i know that's not realistic in a hunting situation but letting down while your target shooting might help you when your in that situation in a hunting mode. hope it helps and i know it sucks good luck to you.

Yes...a break from shooting helped me too. When I first started shooting I practiced for probably 2-3 hrs a day. Yes a little obsessive but I had the time. I was a far better shot then on targets but a much better hunting shot now.

I am battling it for three yrs now. Target shooting is a lot better but if I have a audience or shooting at a live animal I totally freak out still. It is a work in progress that I hopefully will finish some day soon.

Very interesting read. I am the worlds worst when I commit to shooting an animal. I can sit and watch deer all day but when I decide to take a shot I flip out! Especially when it is a nice buck!
I don't know how many times I have been shooting at a target and the instant before I release I know it's going to be a bad shot but I shoot anyways! I did the same thing on a nice buck a couple of years! Very frustrating for sure

A couple of the things that were said on here make perfect sence and I can't wait to try them and see if they help!

              Thanks!

Been there, and still have issues at times. Dropping my draw weight and going to a thumb release helped a ton. I'm also going to a kisser only with no peep. Everyone is different. What might help me might not help you.
