I've been fighting target panic most of this season. I've proven to myself how much a mental issue it is. I can do a practice draw knowing that I'm not going to shoot and hold my pin dead on target and just touch the trigger and even move my trigger finger on and off the trigger. But if I'm planning to shoot, I release the arrow as soon as I see the pin, sometimes even before. With the Lord's help I'm coming out of it now but it's been very trying.

sometimes i still find myself saying "you need to get a grip", seriously i tell myself that. realizing that i am in control has helped me leaps and bounds. hang in there my man.

There is nothing worse in archery than TP. I have had it and it is more frustrating than anything I have ever experienced.
I strongly recommend blank baling as much as possible and slowly working your way back to 20 yds.
Just be patient with it (very difficult) and work hard to get rid of it and one day it will be gone without trying.

Just aim dead center and only use three arrows, then take a drink of water up side down and do 50 push ups. Its a tough mental issue, but this will work
. On a serious note, just take one arrow and keep shooting it from 20 yrds, dead center of the target and go back to ready aim fire. Now that will help.

I had it so bad I didn't even want to shoot anymore but I love the sport so much I stuck with it and am doing much better now with the help of TP Guru .
Good luck.
