gonna revive this old thread. I got a community newsletter the other day that showed a new meat market in town. I've since thrown the newsletter away but thought I remembered it saying that the new shop opened up in the old Silver seal building. did silverseal shut their doors?

Called Hildebrandt and the number listed on the post above is a non- working number. they still around. Called J&M probably going to take it there. I took a deer there years ago, maybe 6-7 or so and from what I remember it was good. how is their jalapeno cheese? seemed to be fair prices.

mine is already de-boned and in vac seal bags so I am just going to wait until the rush dies down a bit.

It's called Smittys Meat Market and it is the same location as the Old Silver Seal on Mahaffey Rd. I dropped off 2 deer there on Saturday. First time I have used them. Been using J&M for years. Just to try something different.

I work with the old man's son from Silver Seal. I will ask him when they are open. I knew they changed ownership and the old man was still going to work there but I didn't know they changed their name.

Hey you should try quality processing in conroe. There jalapeƱo and cheese sausage is the best I have found. You won't be disappointed. They are located behind c&s archery

They are a great meat market, but I haven't heard good things about there deer processing however I haven't personally used them.

Used them two yrs ago and it wasnt bad experience at all paif 70 dollars to have it processed. Came home with three bags of meat. Overall great experience. Took one week to process because they r so busy. And it tasted great.
