I was looking at Boykin but not many have one and would like to get a dog from someone that has one that tuened out good from a kennel. Im a ways from getting one but figured if I decided in the next few months what dog and where from I could pay and get on a list for when they have pups.

My good friend has a Boykin he bought out of Alabama. He did extensive research before choosing the breeder/seller. I can get you a contact # if interested .

Come down to the house Glen and look at my Lacy. She is an even 40# and rides with me in the cab of my truck. She comes in the house, not hyper, likes every body and finds mine and all my friends deer for them.

I have 3 Boykin Spaniels and they will do anything you want! Our youngest is
14 months old and she is a hunting fool! She has been flushing/retrieving quail
and doves since she was 5 months old! She is also my wife's Grand Champion
show dog as well as the #1 female Boykin for 2012 but she would rather hunt!
We also have a 7 yo female who is my retired lap dog and a 5 yo male we rescued
a few months ago, he's going to make a good hunting dog by next year. By the way, we train them ourselves, they are very smart and easily pick up what you are asking them to do. I highly recommend them, PM me for more info.

I've got a German Wire hair that is a hunting machine and is also a great family dogs.
He is a great quail dog a friend of mine is a quail guide and borrows him all the time. He will retreive doves and ducks and even will swim down about 8 feet or so to do under water retreives. He will also track deer, this one pictured he tracked, caught and took down. Oh yeah he doesn't shed either.
