    Dog breed question?

Saw a post on here a long time ago about someone who had got a dog that was a breed that was multiple purpose hunting dog. It retrieved and tracked and I want to say it was a fairly small dog. I know Im gonna here all kinds of stuff about GSP, labs, Jagd..... Anyone know or have an idea of a few that it may be?

No it was some German type name on a pup? I thought I remembered it and it was DRakkar or something but I cant find anything.

I just looked at the breed and maybe I have my wires crossed- I was thinking it was a small frome dog and the description has it at about 70 pounds. Ill keep looking around/ have 2 porch dogs now that lay with the kids and thinking about getting a hunting/fishing buddy again. Would rather it be less than 30# so it can sit in my front seat with me when Im driving. I sure miss my little Jagd.

Sounds like a Vizsla, but it might have been something else.

Oh wait, I looked at the 70# deal. I don't know what it would be for a dog 30# or under. That's getting into "rat" territory instead of being a dog, isn't it?

Just got a Vizsla! Good luck finding one! I got lucky! Awesome multi purpose pup from what I've read. Only down fall to a V is thin coat and extremely cold waters don't mix.
