Treating Poison Ivy?

I got some while out at the ranch this weekend and was wondering if some of yall had some good home remedies i could use to make it stop itching??
Its all over my left arm and hasnt spread anywhere else.

Go to the doctor! I tried all the home remedies and over the counter stuff a few weeks ago and it only got worse until I went to the doctor.

Hot shower an Ajax dish soap!! I'm HIGHLY allergic an this is the only thing other then a steroid shot!

I used to get it really bad and I always put rubbing alcohol on it any time I thought about it and it will dry up in a few days and don't itch it!

Honestly do this and get it over with^^^^
And if you want it to keep from spreading as you sleep tonight wrap it in saran wrap. Its a bit uncomfortable but it will keep it from spreading as you sleep.

Dont scratch it, the only thing ever worked for me is a steroid shot but I get it really bad

Thanks for the help, i guess im making a trip to the doctor, im thinking thats the best way to get rid of it!

Get a hair dryer and set it to hot. Blow it over the infected area and it will feel like your itching it. It will stop the itching for a while.

It is and if your like me and toss and turn in you sleep wrap it up cause you dont want it on your face. TRUST ME

Hot shower an ajax when you think you have been in contact with PI it opens the pores up an will remove the oil from your skin if youve already contracted it the Ajax will dry it out an keep it from spreading keep it aired out smoothering it will spread the oils an cause further irritation!

i use bleach drys it up over night burns a little but works for me.

This. I use Dawn instead of Ajax but anything that works on grease is good. When it starts to itch, wash it again. You have to stay on it.
