Along with the name change it is also now restricted. You must have an applicators lic. to buy it.
I got some other OTC stuff and tried it, but I have been at work since I sprayed it.
I'll have to ask my wife to email me some pics to see if it worked.

BTW Karmex, or whatever the new name is is not labeled for use in ponds. There is even a sign saying that on the shelf where it is. However, the girl that was helping me said, I know what you wanted this for and it really works...my dad throws it out like candy!
I know this is an old thread, but just wondering how the Eraser AQ worked. I just got back from the farm and ranch store in town looking for something to put in my ponds. Owner was trying to sell me this stuff that you put in in steps (4 different products ) The least expensive one was $34.00 and the most expensive one was $65.00. There's no way I'm spending that much for this purpose. I mentioned to him that when I was younger, I used Karmex but heard it's not available anymore. He said- we have it- it' up the shelf over there. Sure enough- it's the same stuff I used to use, and cheaper than it was back then. Got a 5lb bag for $24.99. He did say that he couldn't talk about it being used this way, but I think he was just upset that I didn't spend $175.00 on the stuff he was trying to sell me. As soon as the wind picks up, I'll be doing some weed control. kfd82- I think they lied to you!

It worked on some of the stuff but not all of it.

Wish I could find some of that karmex laying around somewhere. Was that the only bag they had?
I know they didnt lie to me, because the sign on the shelf stated the new name, whatever it was, then said (formerly Karmex) <---just like that. So it was the same product.

Anyway, your store must have had some of the pre name change karmex in stock still. Good find!!

If they have more we may need to work out a tbh express!

Yeah, they had several more bags on the shelf. Isn't Madisonville close to Hempstead? If so, that's not too far away and I can pick some up for you. I live between Hallettsville and Weimar. I found this in Hallettsville.

Be careful and use only enough to kill out weeds in 1/3 of the pond...too much and you will end up depleting the oxygen from the water and lose your fish....

A buddy of mine has been fighting the pond scum, weeds etc. as well. Finally a couple of years ago he bought a load of Grass Carp to stock his pond with. I keep asking him to let me bowfish a couple of the 3 footers but he said Nooooooooooo....

I hope this is not the case but it's what usually happens when something works good. It's been 3 or 4 yrs. since i bought Karmax got to have some weeds are starting to come back in pond.

spray as a very last resort, Please! We ruined one pond by spraying it, the fish had no cover, we'll never do that again. Good luck!
