Try one of the oil filled radiator heaters. They are pretty safe and will heat large areas.

You might get her a heating pad. There are a couple of ladies in our office that are cold natured and the company does not allow the little space heaters in their cubicles. So these ladies use the gel type heating pads in their laps.

I love it when the husband is right. Problem is, if she wants a space heater, she will have a space heater. Be sure to buy a good quality one when you go shopping today.

Probably true but I think I have her convinced they all do this so I might be OK.

Same problem with my wife... Nice big quilt And a heating pad for her side of the bed and no worries about fires... You might recommend something like that to her

Buy her a electric blanket, it will do the trick.

I think it is just a comfort thing with her. I mean we have central gas heat (was at 67 when this happened), a fireplace, electric blankets, down comforter, numerous other blankets etc, all at her disposal but she just liked that little space heater on the bedside nightstand while she is relaxing in the bed grading papers, reading or whatever. She'd turn it off when she'd go to bed if she didn't fall asleep with it on. I have turned it off a time or two myself when that happens.

LOL...I'll run that by her but you know how women are Tim. Her feet, hands and nose will be cold still in that.....even if any normal man would be sweating.
