Muddy stands and sticks is all I'll use!!
You can also get the hooks for the Muddy safety harness that allow you to
carry the sticks on your harness for ease of access while putting up or taking down stands.
And the harnesses are top notch!

I like the Lone Wolf sticks....but to be honest never tried the Muddys. I have tried some offbeat sticks...won't make that mistake again.

yep....I just never had an interest in sticks as I just thought the rope they use would wear out eventually and I dont wont to be 20 feet up a tree and have the rope fail on me. In looking more looks like that rope probably will last 10 years I bet. I think I will try them...look pretty slick.

yeah....the rope on the Lone Wolfs is a thick heavy duty strap. I'd say it good to go for at least 10 years Looks allot beefier than that rope on the Muddys.

My only problem with LW sticks is that at each step placement there is only a single boot step that rotates to left or right side.
I like being able to place both feet at the same level especially when hanging the stand. Muddy and Leverage sticks both have steps on both sides.

That's a good point lost...I was just thinking about that when I was looking at the Muddy....it would be nice to have steps on both side of the stick.

I have a summit copperhead and I love it. Unfortunately they stopped making it. As for steps I use a set of quicksticks. I don't trust screw in steps I'm a rather big fella and I've had them pull outta the tree.

Twisted Timber Treestands have a sweet design for non-striaght trees. Look them up. Not the lightest or cheapest but can definately get you in the most unconventional spots.

Ok well thanks guys, really didn't know I would get so many responses. I've looked at all of them and still cannot figure out what I should get. I've got two weeks to think about it and make a decision so I'll keep looking. Not sure if I have the time to But I might end up building one. Thanks again for all the help and opinions.

I have the Lone Wolf sticks and like them. I have seen the Muddy sticks and while they are a little easier to hang and have steps on both sides it takes more of them to reach the same height (unless the newer ones are longer)

After using the climbing sticks I wont be going back to screw in steps, too much of a pia to use them.

Here at the house I have 3 3 stands hung at the moment. 2 Gametamers which are very comfortable and cheapo ($39) hang on stand that requires me to stand about half the time.
My other stand that I use for hunting public land and draw hunts is a Summit Hawk. Lightweight aluminum and fairly large platform.

I have heard lots of good things about Millineum stands as far as comfort

Millennium M100, I bought mine this spring and also picked up the Muddy climbing sticks. Great combo, I did a lot of reveiwing between the lonewolf too but settled on the Muddy. Much more quiet when setting up my sets. And rather have a full steps on both sides of the sticks. As for the hang on by far the most comfortable to sit in all day. Just my two cents
