Similar but the Canseco deal did not have the playoff implications that this did.

Should have been out of the inning tied.

The Canseco head bop was funny but he was about to crash into the wall.

I watched that and thought it was funny as heck.

His confrontation with Wash after the drop was disturbing to me. He laughed his manager off...not cool, Josh...not cool.

I wish him the best wherever he ends up next year. He's an incredible talent on the diamond and has the position to be an incredible story and testimony off the field - I hope he chooses wisely.

At least he hustled after the ball after he dropped it..... I will miss his bat, but not his attitude. He just laughed it off to the press after the game like it was no big deal.

I guess now we know how other fans felt, when we won the game after their player misplayed a ball.
It appeared that he was surprised that he did not catch it, maybe even stunned a bit, but then he ran after it. With two outs and speedy runners on second and third, who were running at the swing of the bat, they would have scored, even if it fell between his legs. A catch would have been expected, but stuff happens, the whole season.
I hope he is still with us next year and as many years as he can play.

I think Hamilton and Dez Bryant would make good buddies.

I don't think anyone has questioned the baseball talent that Hamilton has or the talent that the Rangers as a team have. When a manager has that much talent available it's not too hard to win.

I do blame Wash as much as anyone.

The OP stated he hated Hamilton, I think after rethinking his statement, he hates the way Hamilton has been playing and portraying himself to the fans and public. I think most fans will agree with that.

The statement that you wouldn't trade this team for any other team. Haha. Let's bring back Kennedy with Incaviglia, Julio, Juan, Kevin Reimer and who ever else I am forgetting.

I want to cut Hamilton some slack because I think he is a much better role model than many of the diva athletes that seem to get all of the press coverage.

I am not happy with him because I know he can do better than how he played yesterday and how he responded to his boss. Wash has always had the players backs. The players should have no reason not to show him respect.

when young was struggling all year he did not get set down till he left to be with his wife. Kinsler has been struggling all year and is still the leadoff hitter. i think hamilton has tuned washington out all year. when asked about kinsler and andrus getting picked off so many times this year, washington has said he does not want to take away from their aggressivness. it is not aggressiveness it is called playing dumb. i have been a huge rangers fan. i still would not trade this team for any team left in the playoffs. i just dont like some of the way the team is playing. i don't like hearing how with 3 games left that there is no sense of urgency. the winning of the other pennants was the freshness of his message. just like with anything people get comfortable and content. hopefully they are just a tired bunch or that they did get content, but losing the west has woke them up and let them know it does not matter what you did before.

True true his back is sore from carrying that team the last month!!

How many pennants did they win?

We will just have to agree to disagree. If you were to set everyone down who was in a slump or missed a play. We would have to forfeit every game. Players get picked off all the time. They get caught leaning or trying to get an edge for themselves. I don't think they are dumb, it's baseball and being aggressive can win games. We don't raise cain win the successfully steal a base, they are great, but getting caught does not make you dumb either. Nor does indicate that the coach is dumb.
I would like to see them move up in the playoffs, but I do not think that it will happen. Poor offense and less than stellar pitching is going to be their demise this year.

                              Good article on the guy

This time, the playoffs (and his penitence) will determine his future in Texas.
