I'm not calling you a bandwagon Rangers fan. But going from a Hamilton fanatic when he was on fire to having an "absolute pure hatred" for him when he's struggling sounds kinda bandwagonish to me. Blaming him for all of the teams problems right now sounds that way too. Sure, he hasn't played up to his potential half the time this year, and he's made a couple of bonehead plays today too. But is that really a reason to hate him and blame him for all of the team's problems - based on what you imagine and guess might be going on in the clubhouse and who you guess and imagine is the problem?

Josh is still one of the best players in MLB. I'd much rather have him on our team than have him beating us in pinstripes. There are plenty of other players on the current roster than need to go before Josh. Lots of upgrade potential at several positions. Heck, even if Josh is one that needs to go, why hate him for it?

That's a little bandwagonish is all I'm saying. I do think he and many others deserve a good ol' fashioned butt chewing after the game today. But I don't hate him and hope he ends up unemployed and broke next year.

Okay maybe I went a little too harsh on Hamilton. Maybe I shouldn't hate him but today I do. I can't stand to sit and watch a superstar like Hamilton just play when he wants to play instead of all of the time. Do you think that he got to the MLB by playing half seasons?

I wasn't blaming everything on him either... I was simply saying that attitudes rub off on people. Just like co-workers attitudes do at your workplace. People are affected by attitudes. Maybe its not all Hamilton but after the way he got back in Washington's face after he dropped a catch he should have made, that was pathetic and looks sorry on his part.

I would rather have some youngster from the farm club like Craig Gentry play his heart out and have half the talent that Hamilton does. I'm just sick of watching someone that has every bit of god given talent that not very many people in the MLB have and just blow it like he does.

Sorry for saying hate.... I take it back. I just really don't care for the guy at all on the ball field. Love what he does off the field for sure. Great guy off the field just not always when he is on the field.

Rangers should have gave him a new contract after the All Star break. He deserves to be paid. He has proved himself over his years here and management is grab as**** around. He will go elsewhere now and he will punish the Rangers every time he plays them. There's no doubt he will be over paid but that is how sports operate. Pay the man!!!!

Don't let the door hit you in the azz on the way out. Pathetic display.

You are missing the point. I supported him through his slumps...he's not even trying now and his attitude sucks. Good riddance. He will crumble under a big market media.

yea but the team as a whole has been bad so everyone has to have a guy to blame haha

You wanna see some bandwagon fans of the Rangers come to Houston. It's almost comical (like the Astros record)
