X2 and they have a large variety of sausage options. The green onion one is awesome.

Triple J in Fredericksburg.... im a little biased since my buddy owns it and i do some skinning for them but if you have never had snack stixs or Cured and smoked....you are missing out!

I'm not sure if there's a thread started on this or not but I couldn't find one. I figured since we have a rate the day lease to help each other out then we could do the same for the processors.....Based on your personal reviews not what you've heard from joe neighbor or your BFF in high school but what you personally think, paid etc etc. if this isn't needed or wanted or isn't allowed then mods please delete.
I didn't get to tag anything last year so I have no review but I'm know a bunch if you do.

There's a couple in Crosby that's worth the job.

There is a place next to Double B archery on 105 by Lake Conroe that i was impressed with.

x2 for Quality Processing. I cut my own and have them make the sausage. They make excellent sausage and they say they do them one at a time. I want my deer back.

Tallent's in Riverside - right outside of Trinity is the only place I will go. Same people there for years and they make the best cajun deer sausage. They only bad thing is that don't accept porkers...

Naturally Fresh in Midland is who we use. They have done a good job for us the past 3 years and they cut the head off on the spot so no losing it.

Do not use Clarks and Winfords in Midland. We personally had 3 bucks stolen from us from by the jackholes. One nice 13 pt mulie I shot biggest deer of my life. Nice heavy and wide 8 point muley my dad shot, and a 6 pt. whitetail that had one main beam broke off(thought it grew that way other wise would have let him grow it back to the next year) Went to pick them up and they didn't give us any of the heads just the one of the 3 muley bucks that was taken to them. All three of the deer stolen were studs. Confronted them and they just took us back to the freezer to "look" for our deer. We could have stolen somebody elses deer and they wouldn't have known any different. Which is what I think happened I think somebody upgraded there smaller deer for our studs which dwarfed every other rack in the freezer. Also when we got back they had given us somebody elses antlers inside one of the boxes. And then on top of all that we had nothing but burger when we paid and asked for steaks to be cut out of the deer. Needless to say we tell everyone we meet that hunts in the area to not go to those jackwagons.

Last time I shot a deer worthy of a shoulder mount I tipped the guy skinning deer $20 to move mine to the front of the line. I left with it that night.

i will never go back to granzins. i had 80 lbs of dried sausage made and it was under cooked and raw in the center.
i use schawbs in New braunfels and Sklenarik's in Miles

I would have called them and taken it back. I have taken several deer there and they seemed like good people.

X100 not only great sausage they are Great people. when my Son was in afcrapistan Marcus matched me lb for lb on the jerky i bought to send him. i sent him 2lbs a week for 8 months.

Juniors in Highlands didn't make the sausage i asked for and was very high i would never use them again
