This past year I started trying to lead a more Godly lifestyle and I agree I have a lot to learn and do need to read more. But if what you are saying is correct then people would not go to small groups to learn more about the bible. I chose the GS to hold a small group discussion on the topic because I figured there would be some great input that would allow me to learn even more.

Go to Genesis 9:3 instead of Genesis 27. Genesis 9:3 is a direct statement from God to Noah. "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you..." I am a pastor and have my trophies on my study wall. Some just worship and serve the creature more than the creator.

Humans and our ancestor primates have relied on hunting and gathering for approximately 99% of the last 3 million years. Deciding that it's wrong NOW is a little late...

Prior to the advent/discovery of agriculture it's all we had to survive. I don't see a problem here.

Now, my family was against hunting and fishing on Sunday. They said it was against God's law for us to do so. But, I never found that in the Bible either and so I do both on Sunday.

What is meant by Genesis 9:4-5? 4"But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.5 and for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand and accounting from every animal...
