Skip Walgreens, Rodney...they can not be considered accurate.
Get your butt to doc, pronto, for him to check it. May be nothing more than caffeine and dentist office, but don't mess around and take chances.

I would avoid stressing your body out now till a Doctor can determine the root cause of these blood pressure numbers.

It only takes one cardiac arrest to kill......signs like this are typical and those that don't pursue medical attention after hearing these numbers.....are prone to stroke out if they ignore it.

Keep aspirin close by till you see the Doc. Take one each morning to help thin the blood in the meantime......heart health is serious business. They can do miracles with the heart today but....you have to get in to the Doc to get there otherwise...it's only a matter of time.

I went through exact same scenario at dentist last year and I ended up in ER later that night. Scared the hell out if me Could be nothing but you better get it checked out at doctor ASAP. Turns out I am pretty healthy otherwise...just had to start taking low dose bp meds after having "normal" bp for years.

If it were just the reading on machine that would be one thing, but the symptoms you describe combined with that make me think you need to see the doc. Can't hurt and might just help.

The top number is call systolic blood pressure, it measures the pressure in the arteries when the heart beats. Bottom number is called diastolic, it measures the pressure in the arteries between the beats. Systolic pressure is "important number". When it gets up Above 180 or so, something is wrong.

Been monitoring all day. Did 4 readings throughout the day at my neighbors. They were 163 over 111, then 183 over 117 and finally 153 over 107. Fixing to take a final reading. I've taken an aspirin earlier but still been feeling kinda just OK today. I'm sure everything is fine. Nothing a few crowns can't fix. I kid I kid I kid lol

I have a 9 am appt with cardiologist in San Antonio. thanks for all the responses.

Got to figure out if I can watch the Cowboys tonight. Lol

My blood pressure was great until about three years ago. I check it pretty regularly.

I was helping a friend work on his tractor and had a part in the vice on the workbench in the barn grinding to get ready to weld. Didn't know he had a bunch of parts soaking in gasoline under the work bench. I was lucky. I just "felt" the fireball coming and rolled and jumped back and just got hit in the chest and throat...singed the tip of my ear and tip of my nose but the worst burns (third degree) were in the vee of my collar...my shirt caught fire but I hit and rolled. I still don't know why I jumped back like I did or it would have been my face.

Anyway, my blood pressure went from perfect to awful overnight...like 190 over 110. I medicate now and keep it around 140-150 over 90 but it was pretty scary for awhile.

Take it from someone who has had 2-- Transient Ischemic Attacks
                                (TIA, Mini-Stroke)
You want to get this fixed.
Mine was 207 over 107 when I got to Baylor and they kept me for 3 days over the Thanksgiving weekend in 2009, Been on high blood, Chelostrol and baby aspirin since.
You need to get what they told me was a "line reading"---- Take it every hour if possible for a 24 hour period so he knows what your true average is.
Good luck and keep us updated.
