iOS 6 and excessive battery drain

Upgraded my 4S on Thursday and since have noticed my phone battery is not lasting near as long. Wife confirmed her 4 and her 2nd gen iPad are dyeing faster as well. Love the new OS hate the shortened battery life. Anyone have a new 5 and does it seem to die faster?

This is why I usually wait to upgrade. Sounds like they are going to need an update to fix.

That is the main reason I just bought a Droid over the new Iphone 5!! My Droid has all the same bells and whistles as the new Iphone, with the exception of SIRI, but it has 4 times the battery life!!! Im hearing a lot of bad news on that battery life!!!

Bought the 5 yesterday, and haven't had any problems with battery life. It's the same, if not better than my 4.

i have the 4 with new ios6 and after resetting some settings that it takes back to default my iphone last from 6am when i unplug it till about 8pm-9pm depending on how much internet i do with it. my wife noticed a battery drain and turned off her email push notification and hers last a long time too. her bluetooth being on all the time cause of her ear thingie drains it faster too.

I downloaded to my 4s and iPad 2 and have not noticed any problems with battery life.

I updated my 4s on Wednesday and haven't noticed any difference in battery life.

these are some of the fun features they build into the new os' when a new phone is out....makes it easier for you to miss and easily get fed up with to the point of saying screw it and go get a new phone....
