All phones have their issues and always will.
iPhone has allot more applications then the MS phones.
    Which is more stable? Neither
Some Ms phones have upgradeable storage, IE micro SD ,iphone doesn't
iPhone battery is not removable with in reason, unlike MS phones.
Large screens on MS phones for now over iPhone.
Both can be rooted/jail broken to install 3P apps.
    Which is faster?
Any of them depending cell tower connectivity in your location.
Processor speed isn't that noticeable unless you use applications that are not written very well and use up free memory resulting in a freeze eventually.
Processors range from 1.0 to 1.5 ghz. HTC has the 1.5 & iPhone uses the A5 which is 1.0ghz but the best processor is the 1.4 ghz quad core in the SIII. Not to mention the SIII & HTC use double the amount of ram then the iPhone.
However iPhone with it's smaller screen, processor, & ram is still the leader in pixel density.
So if your wanting the quickest with upgradable storage. You might want to look at the SIII.

I tryed a driod and did not like the fact that I had to set up a GMail acc. and go through passwords every time to check it. Had it for a week and took it back and got a new IPhone. I think it is more user friendly. Oh and get an OTTER BOX. My wife and I have had 3 Iphones between us and after we take them out of the Otter Box they still look brand new. Just sayin

          iPhone all the way.

LIFEPROOF CASE!!! i just got one of these. they are water proof... shows you can take it swimming and take underwater pics and video (up to 6.6'). Before you install your phone, you hold the new case underwater for an hour for a leak test...
          Im pretty impresses so far.

That is strange. I set up Gmail and three Outlook accounts within a few minutes and everything works perfectly.

I thinking I'm going to switch in November when my upgrade is available & the husband is thinking about checking out the galaxy s3.

If I had to choose a stock system I would go with the android OS. I don't like having apple's "walled garden" and steve jobs ghost looming over my shoulder telling me what I can and can't do. BUT if it's between a jail broke iphone or rooted android I'll take the iphone. My jail broke iphone 4s can do everything the android can... even look like it!

Had an iphone in the past and switched over to Android about 2 years ago. I personally like the Android system better..but I pretty much just use my phone as a phone/text messenger and some internet content. To me the Android is an easier interface, have larger screens and most are lighter weight than iPhone. I had an HTC Inspire which apparently hasn't been the best phone as AT&T gets lots of complaints on that particular phone. Mine went haywire the other day and starting just randomly doing things all on it's own....some kind of hardware issue I guess. Ended up replacing it with the Samsung Galaxy S3. So far LOVING it!

1 - Fast as can be
                                2 - I can change memory cards
3 - I can change the battery, If the iphone dies youd better find a charger...Droid you can slap in a new battery and keep truckin
4 - No apple specific crap to worry about, I can get music/videos/apps from anywhere and put them on my phone without having to do all the extra crap like iphones.
5 - Alot easier for me to navigate
6 - HUGE screen and more slim than the iphone. An iPhone cant even cover the screen on this thing.
7 - Alot more friendly with the home screen and app organization. Widgets are awesome.

Some folks hate em and some folks love em.
                                What he said!

I hae a HTC Vivid and love it. Never had a problem with it.
