Got the target frames in on the rifle range...

Weather permitting I'll be starting the concrete shooting benches later this week...

Got frames at 50 feet, 50 yards, 100 yards, 150 yards, and 200 yards.

The longer range stuff will use a portable bench and be in a different area.

How's the pool working out this summer?

We have really enjoyed the pool this summer. I'm going down to spend the night tonight.

Don't have any real recent pics of the fishing hole. The cantilever pier on the peninsula is almost finished and I'm adding a second 24" culvert spillway tomorrow.

Here's a shot forming up the framework for the cantilever. Visualize final water level being just under the pier deck that extends out over the water. It will be gravel and flagstone on the peninsula leading out to the 8' x8' wooden deck extended out over the water.

Another cool thing we have going on right now is our first olive harvest...the trees are 4 years old.

                  That all looks great!

Are you gonna make olive oil, or do you just really freakin love marinis and pimento cheese sandwiches?

Also have 35 gallons of wine from the grape harvest in secondary fermentation now.

I've already racked it once since this picture was taken and it's a lot darker and clearer now...There's a lot more than that, that's just the only picture I have here...

I'm not going to press oil this year but may next year. It take a lot to make oil...100# of olives only makes about 1 1/2 gallons of oil. I'll probably figure out how to do a press for next year that I can use with my hydraulic log splitter as the power.

We are going to make table olives this first year by curing them in brine first and then adding spices etc. later. I really like table olives and spicy tappenades and yeah, I'm sure we will give a lot away as well.

                              LOL

I think my wife is about to revolt. She wants us to take a weekend and haul the kayaks to the coast fishing (I haven't done it in a couple of years). She claims all my current hobbies involve too much work.
