ya i bought mine last week and the exact same thing happened but i still havent had a good battery yet because the light wont stay bright for more than 5 mins but i changed batts and it helped so we will see

FYI...don't think kelly will be making the HawgLite anymore...

A new and improved light is in the works..He calls it the Marauder.. Hopefully, the new light will be making a debut at the MCAC Night Shoot on June 28.
