Update 12:23 here:

Just got back to the hotel after an emotional roller coaster of a morning. We started back on the blood trail we had left off on last night. We followed for about 30 yards and it just seemed to go dry. So me and Miles gets anxious and start covering trails were we think the deer might of gone. After about an hour of that I head back out the last blood where my dad had slowly found 10 more yards of tiny pin ***** drops. Things were not looking good for us. I decided i was gonna walk over and check a small brushy patch 10 yards from last blood and to my surprise there he was! Stone cold dead, my shot wasn't as bad as i had thought. He was quartering to more then i had realized and the arrow entered high lung and exited out his opposite rear side, he only made it 70 yards from where I shot him. It was an awesome feeling to finally lay my hands on my first Montana Bruiser after 2 years of failed attempts!

After we found my deer we were able to hang a stand on the field where the palm-8 and big ten were seen last night. Looks very promising. The best part about this set is that me and Miles will be able to watch the whole hunt from our truck through spotting scopes and binos. So i will giving live updates tonight on my dads hunt for the Palm-8.

I am about to head over and help Miles cape my deer and score him. After that we will be heading back out to the hunting grounds.
