primos preditor den blind. Can you shoot through the mesh windows without messing up the flight of the arrow? The mesh seams real thick.

Also, since most folks seem to be shooting vanes, shoot thru window screen doesn't work too well with them either. Feather fletching made it easy to shoot thru the mesh with a FIXED blade head, especially cut on contact, but the stiff vanes can catch on the mesh enough to mess up the arrow flight.

You can shoot through the mesh without any problems at all with fixed blade heads. I haven't tried it with Rages. If I want to shoot one of those, I just pull the mesh down. See this post on another thread for a tip on making that work better: http://discussions.texasbowhunter.co...66#post5788266

Had even just video'd it, reviewed the tape and it was obvious the arrow was deflected downward. I posted it here back then, but it had some naughty words in it.
Best bet(if you can) is to position you ground blind so the morning or evening sun isn't pouring through the window. I have sat in mine and waved at Deer 10 yards away without being seen.Last edited by 47; 09-07-2012, 09:00 AM.
