      CVA Apex. Hands down.
I spent two hours looks at 15 different muzzle loaders. The Apex beat them all. Real stainless steel barrel - not a coating (T/C). Best adjustable trigger, easy to break open, no wrench required breach plug. I fired mine 20 times and still just used my fingers to take it out the breach plug. Very smooth lines, and shoulders great. Center fire barrels drop right on, and are a fraction of the cost of a T/C. Do your self a favor and just give them a look. The gun will sell it's self, I don't need to.

TC impact. Reasonably priced and VERY accurate out of the box. Mine shot less than 1.25 group at 100y

I have a CVA wolf and love the thing. I shoot pistol bullets out of mine and I can stack them in good at the range with it. I just can not see spending alot for a black powder that you will only shoot a few times a year. Mine is very accurate and with the right bullets and powder options.

We stopped by Cabelas today, North FTW. They have a whole rack of smoke-poles. Some looked used, just talk em down.
