I have had a couple. My CVA is the best one I have had so far. You can get into it without breaking the bank and still shoot as well as the hi priced ones out there and not pay for the name. I've got a Traditions Black Diamond in .45 cal if you're interested. Make you a heck of a deal. Gun and 3 x 9 scope, $250.00.

How much are you looking to spend? There are a lot of good muzzle loaders out there besides TC. TC does a lot of advertising but like I said there are other great muzzle loaders out there besides them.

I was wondering this also. Wanna take advantage of the late muzzleloader season.

Most places around the state, unless down south or way out west will you need a rifle that shoots out past 200yds. Most of them on the market today will do this without spending a ton of money. I got a guy set up with a CVA, scope, powder and bullets for under 300 bucks. That gun will shoot 250yds consistently in an inch and a half group.

I have a Remington stainless 54 cal with the Nikon bdc scope. I would rather have a 50 cal.

I got the Remington from my dad after he passed away but I'm willing to part with it. I'm asking because I've never bought one myself.
