I sell alot of different models and it will come down to personnel preference.

Heath's/Louisville line is as good as you can get, of all of their bats I like the Exo and the Omaha.. I'm not a big fan of the Z1000

After the Louisville line Rawlings would be next on my list..

    Easton
    &
    Marruci

    Have good models as well..

The Rawlings 5150 is ver good an popular, I have hit with the EXO as well and they are both pretty good
My brother swings the C5 I believe it's fully composite and completely legal and he loved and it lasted him all year and is still in good shape

My boy is on his third (3rd), did I say third? Easton S2. Original, then replacement #1, and now replacement#2. Both failures were at the collar. He liked it "So-So", had enough pop to take a couple out with it, but he preferred a buddy's Demarani. The 5150 has had a lot of praise.

The Z1000 is going to be a very well balanced bat. It is one of the lightest swinging BBCOR bats on the market for 2012. We did have an issue with durability on some bats but we will take care of any issue that you may have. I have some bats that I hit all year and have had 0 issues with, while I know of others that cracked not to long out of the wrapper. I think the Z1000 was our best bat, but the high price kept it from doing as well in the market as we wanted to.

The EXO was still a very popular bat for us and Arizona swung it on their way to a National Title. Yes, it did have more of a end weighted swing weight (like all BBCORS) so a lot of guys would actually transition down a size. So if you swing a 32" bat, they would swing a 31". If your kid has been an EXO kid in the past this may be the way to go.

All of our new 2013 bats will be out in October and there is a big time difference between this year and last years. The swing weights have drastically changed and I love our new BBCOR line. You are going to be able to find some great deals on the 2012 Z1000 and EXO out in the market. Keep in my mind, these bats will be just as "hot" as the 2013 models, but the major difference will be the swing weights which is just a personal feel anyway. Some guys like swinging a bat that has more weight in the end.

What size are you looking for?
This is pretty interesting stuff, I'm looking forward to seeing the new line, in my upcoming junior I think it will be hard to sway me from my 5150 though, but im open to new options.

My son is swinging a 32 drop 3 rt now and that's probably what we will stick with. I found a couple killer deals online for the xo and the z1000 and that was one of the reasons I was asking about them. Of course these were 12 models. Unfortunately I cannot spend 3 to 4 bills on a bat and these were significantly less. I have seen the z1000 break but was unsure if that was a isolated issue or a big problem. Thanks for the input. Do you have anything left in stock Heath?
