Game Camera pics via text!

after the thread a couple of weeks ago i did some research and bought the scoutguard 580M. Put it out Saturday and it's been FANTASTIC! Only problem i have is now i want more.

Ended up buying mine on EBAY for $280. Added a $10 line to my AT&T cell phone plan (be aware you can only have 5 cards/phones on a plan at this cost) and was in business. I put out a new feeder locally and havent had any deer on it yet, but lots of coons and crows.

The instructions for setting the camera up were a little difficult, but there's several youtube tutorials that make set up a snap. Im headed to Kansas in two weeks and have my fingers crossed that i can find somewhere with service for it. The camera display shows signal strength (bars) just like a phone to make finding a location easier.

been wanting one of those for a couple of years now...but I knew that as soon as I set one up it would ruin me at work (kind of like surfing the green screen). I'd be in a meeting and get a text of a big buck at my stand...no thanks! LOL

Can you have the pics sent to email instead of text?

I can access either on my iPhone, but wouldn't want to get that many text alerts during the day while working.

yes...but you'd have to subscribe to a data services plan which would be more per month

Ok prob not good idea. Can you at least set the frequency pics are texted to you?
(One hour delay, 30. Min delay etc)
Or are they just sent to you as they are taken one by one?

Not exactly sure...I don't own one so I can't really speak to that. I just know about the data services/text stuff b/c I researched them pretty extensively a while back but for reasons I stated above never pulled the trigger on one
