I posted this earlier in this thread:

If they've got all of your 4 miles welded up in less than a week, they could still have a mile left in their spread to lay or 50 miles left to lay. They'll usually start tie-ins while they're still laying pipe if they have enough equipment and employees. Once they get laid out on their spread, that crew will come back and help out with tie-ins. Being in south Texas, there shouldn't be a lot of tie-ins other than road crossings, line crossings, etc. I'm sure it's pretty much a straight shot right-of-way.

I'm thinking they'll have it tied-in and backfilled before season starts. But they still have to test 350 miles of pipe. Then there's clean-up to do. Final dress up of the right-of-way, seeding and fertilizing.

Sorry I sound so vague with my reply but it's difficult to say as I don't know how much pipe that spread has to lay and tie-in within the entire 350 mile line.
All the info has been helpful. Thanks

Looks similar to the pipeline that came through our lease last month. We were there the weekend of the 6th and they were welding in our pasture. We went back last weekend and the pipe is in the ground, but they aren't finished with the clean up yet. Precision Pipeline guy drove by Sat. checking things out. They hope to be out of there in a couple of more weeks. It's definitely taking longer than I hoped. The rough terrain on the north side of Hwy. 90 slowed them down before they got to us.

We are south of Brackettville. Where are y'all at? It has definitely hurt the deer's feeding pattern. I'm missing a lot of the deer I had on camera before they started. Hopefully they will come back when things get back to normal in a couple of weeks.

That's good news. Hopefully it won't be too long before they come thru with cleanup and seeding/fertilizing.
