He'll take playing time away from Beltre,Young,Moreland and Murphy. I'm not wild about the idea,especially in the thick of a pennant race. I would have preferred to get him some AB's when rosters expand in september,but not right now.

Like Heath said, I think they want to get a look at him before September. I think they had plans to go get a right hand bat any way. Unless Olt proves capable. I think he will give Beltre a rest at 3rd and let him DH some. Either way it spells less playing time hopefully for Young. I love the guy, but he's just not getting it done.
