what to use to clean deck ???

dont use a power washer just bleach and water I stained fences for a couple of yrs power washer just water log the wood

I think the fence pickets were cedar and the deck is pine(treated)

Seal it ??? That may be part of the problem. I have not sealed it before at all.

Hmmm... I was hoping to avoid the hi pressure washing. maybe not gonna be able to.

I wasnt clear enugh i guess. You dont want to use the high pressure tip. You want a lower pressure wide tip. Like i said the bleach does most of the work so it doesnt take too much to get the junk off. It will water log it if you get too close and break the surface of the wood. Also remember start out away from it the find your highth and stay at that level if you get too close it will look different from the rest then youll have to do the rest that level. Which equals more work
