what to use to clean deck ???

I have a deck, about 8 ish years old. Half in the shade of an oak and half in the sun. It is good sized, 16 x 42

The shady part is looking pretty dungey... as well as the picnic table. it is made with treated(or goes for treated nowdays) pine.

what would be a good solution to spray / swab over the deck to make it look decent again?

I have used bleach & water on cedar fence to bring it back to life.

for folks that have done this... what's ya use?

    thanx,

I used to use a scrub brush and Olympic deck cleaner in the rain and then wash it off with a garden hose. THe deck cleaner probably was just a $8 jug of bleach though...

I use a deck cleaner for power washers sold at Lowes, let it soak and then power wash mine..

Bleach and water. Be careful with the pressure washer as it may cause the wood to get furry if you hit it too hard. Let it dry for several days and re-seal...

I used to bleach them with a pumpup sprayer then powerwash cause the bleach does most of the work u dont have to get close to get results do not use a 0 tip the high pressure one . Then reseal it or it will will look bad in half the time

Seal it ??? That may be part of the problem. I have not sealed it before at all.

Hmmm... I was hoping to avoid the hi pressure washing. maybe not gonna be able to.

Get Jeremy over there to scrub it by hand. I'm sure he'd be happy to help!!
