I had a 2009 with the 5.0 not 4x4 . usually got 17mpg at best ........traded last year for Lariat with V6 ecoboost w/ 4x4...now i get around 19 mpg ...has all the power and towing capability i will every need. Can pull a trailer with ATV's/ jet skis or a boat dont need it tod do any more than that. I love it best truck I have ever owned and there is nothing on the market that even gets close on the interior quality and space. pay the extra money and get the ecoboost now, don't wait

Drive one everyday, all day, in Austin traffic. Extended cab, 6ft bed, 2wd. Never really get on the highway and average about 14-16 at best. Sometimes lower. You have to drive it like you stole it, or mad at it, to feel the power. It will rev to 7k though. That's a cool sound.

Dodge should still have one available.

I drove a 3.7 5spd dodge quad cab, mileage was terrible but almost felt like it would accelerate with a3.93 rear end. Would go used with a v8 in lieu of an underpowered 6.
