No he is not using that one but he did have to order a larger mount. He said it was the heaviest south Texas horn he had ever held (weight wise), and he had the thickest skull plate he has ever seen. This is a low fence deer in the worst drought in history

Yes I have mounted a bunch of deer from Duval cnty ranch over the years and there skull plates are by far the thickest I have ever seen. Some 5/8" or better. And the biggest monster bodies also. Several on Canadian size manikins. I love those big suckers. Did he have a bad tick infestation? Some were really bad last year.
