This deer was a total surprise to me but my dad had been watching him for 4 days. The problem is he failed to let anyone know that he had seen this deer. He left for home and I passed him on the way to the ranch. He thought all of us big trophy hunters wouldn't shoot an 8 point as a trophy but I proved him wrong. He seemed a little sad at first but was happy for me. No one had ever seen him before and we had no game cam pics of him. My dad did say he would share his secret deer with me from now on so he has only himself to blame
