    What it boils down to for me is the girls got themselves that far, as a team, they should win or lose as a team. What does that say to the girls when you make the playoffs and suddenly the coach decides he wants someone else playing. They were good enough to get that far but not good enough to get keep advancing?
    I agree with you, my point is that a parent should express their concerns before or after a game.

      I kinda have a different view on it. We have picked up players this year that would help us win tourneys at positions we are weak at but the coach is scared to play them for fear of making a parent mad. Why pick them up if you arent going to use them (I guess he is using them just as pitchers)....It is select ball and we often get in tourneys over our head and the extra fire power could have really helped.

        I coached girls softball for about 8 to 10 years in the 80's. There are so many frustrations with it, I was glad my girls finally got too old to play. Not taking sides on this. I've been on both sides of the issue.
