                  MY opinion the best compounds are made by Mathews, But since this is new to you, I would get a bow that is easy to work on and change draw lenghts, Etc. Biggest thing to want to get is a really good release.

                      Some of your bow shops will have some used bows for sale. Might be a little cheaper just starting out.
